Working Group Meeting under Preparation of the III CONGRESS ON MENTAL HEALTH: MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE XXI CENTURY & IX WORLD CONGRESS FOR PSYCHOTHERAPY

The meeting of the Working group on the preparation of the III Congress on Mental Health: Meeting the Needs of the XXI Century” and the IX World Congress for Psychotherapy was held on January 30 in Moscow. Participants included: Natalia Treushnikova, President of the Union for Mental Health of Russia; Victor Makarov, President of the All-Russian Professional Psychotherapeutic League (OPPL) and the Self-Regulatory Organization “Commonwealth of Psychotherapists and Psychologists”, Vice-President of the World Council for Psychotherapy (WCP); Olga Pazyna, Director of the Union for Mental Health of Russia; Ekaterina Makarova, Chairman of the International Section of the OPPL, Chairman of the Youth Section of the WCP. At the meeting, approaches to organizing joint work were discussed, and a topic was agreed that will bring together two major international events: “Children. Society. Future.”
 
Reference: From June 26 to June 29, 2020, two large international events will be held in Moscow, Russia: the III Congress on Mental Health: Meeting the Needs of the XXI Century” and the IX World Congress for Psychotherapy, united by one theme: “Children, Society and Future.” Mental health celebrities – experts on the mental health of children and adolescents, including health care, education and science, social protection, arts and culture, physical education and sports, representatives of NGOs and media from more than 70 countries will take part in the congresses.
