VII ALL-RUSSIAN ONLINE CONFERENCE «MENTAL HEALTH: MODERN TRENDS & PROSPECTS»

The Union for Mental Health (Moscow) in cooperation with the Northern State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Arkhangelsk), the Ural State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Ekaterinburg), The Ivanovo State Medical Academy Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Ivanovo) will hold online the VII All-Russian Interuniversity Scientific Conference “Mental Health: Modern Trends & Prospects” on 16 December at 4 pm (Moscow time).

The Conference is aimed at raising awareness on mental health via presentation of modern approaches to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental and behavioral disorders among senior students at medical universities in Russia. It will serve also for developing networks and cooperation in mental health field between Russian universities and improving attitudes to psychiatry as a one of the leading sciences in mental health.

The keynote report “From Chekhov to Pavlov, From Luria to Vygotsky: A Brilliant Foundation, A Promising Future – Russian Adventures in the Humanities, Medical Psychology and Psychiatry” will be delivered by Vincenzo Di Nicola, MPhil MD PhD FRCPC DFAPA FCPA FCAHS, Professor of Psychiatry, University of Montreal; Founder and President of the Canadian Association of Social Psychiatry (CASP) and President-Elect of the World Association of Social Psychiatry (WASP) (Montreal, Canada)

The Conference is the part of the All-Russian Interuniversity Educational Program for Students of Medical and Non-Medical Universities – future specialists in the field of mental health.
