VIII ALL-RUSSIAN INTERUNIVERSITY SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE «MENTAL HEALTH: MODERN TRENDS & PROSPECTS»

The Union for Mental Health (Moscow) in cooperation with the Astrakhan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Astrakhan), the Smolensk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Smolensk), the Kirov State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Kirov), the Orenburg State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Orenburg), and the Izhevsk State Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Izhevsk) will hold online the VIII All-Russian Interuniversity Conference “Mental Health: Modern Trends & Prospects” on 24 February at 1 pm (Moscow time).

The Conference is aimed at raising awareness on mental health via presentation of modern approaches to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental and behavioral disorders among senior students at medical universities in Russia. It will serve also for developing networks and cooperation in mental health field between Russian universities and improving attitudes to psychiatry as a one of the leading sciences in mental health.

The keynote report “Global Mental Health: The Task for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry” will be delivered by Dr. Milavić MD., F.R.C.Psych., Chair of the Association for Child, and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH), President Elect and member of the Psychiatry Council of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK).

The Conference is the part of the All-Russian Interuniversity Educational Program for Students of Medical and Non-Medical Universities – future specialists in the field of mental health.
