IX ALL-RUSSIAN INTERUNIVERSITY SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE «MENTAL HEALTH: MODERN TRENDS & PROSPECTS»

The Union for Mental Health (Moscow) in cooperation with the RUDN University (Moscow), the Voino-Yasenetsky Krasnoyarsk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Krasnoyarsk), and the Chita State Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Chita) will hold online the IX All-Russian Interuniversity Conference “Mental Health: Modern Trends & Prospects” on 14 April at 9 am (Moscow time). 

The Conference is aimed at raising awareness on mental health via presentation of modern approaches to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental and behavioral disorders among senior students at medical universities in Russia. It will serve also for developing networks and cooperation in mental health field between Russian universities and improving attitudes to psychiatry as a one of the leading sciences in mental health. 

The keynote report “The Problem of Choosing Psychiatry as a Profession” will be delivered by Professor Morozov, MD, Professor of the Department of Psychiatry at the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, Secretary General of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA), Vice President of the Russian Society of Psychiatrists.

The Conference is the part of the All-Russian Interuniversity Educational Program for Students of Medical and Non-Medical Universities – future specialists in the field of mental health.
