On March 31, the All-Russian inclusive Festival #PeopleLikePeople starts

From March 31 to April 2, 2022, the annual All-Russian inclusive Festival #PeopleLikePeople will be held. It is timed to coincide with World Autism Awareness Day and is being held in Russia for the sixth time. The purpose of the action is not only to inform the society, but also to include people with ASD and their families in the social environment, as well as to help others in accepting children and adults with special needs.

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is a group of developmental disorders characterized by impairments in communication, social interaction and behavior. From year to year, the number of people with ASD is increasing: in the last five years alone, the number of children with autism in schools and kindergartens in Russia has doubled.

The #PeopleLikePeople Festival is the largest themed event in Europe. For the third time, Russian regions will join the Festival — to date, about 175 venues have registered in the program. The main program of the Festival consists of both online and offline events.

Natalya Treushnikova, President of the Union for Mental Health will be charing the Round Table “Seamless” Psychiatry: From Childhood to Adulthood”, which will be held on April 1 at 10.00 at the Tsaritsyno State Museum-Reserve.
