MENTAL HEALTH AND EDUCATION. MENTAL HEALTH EXPERTS COMMENT ON TOPICAL ISSUES. DARLYNE G. NEMETH, PH.D., M.P., M.P.A.P.

 Darlyne G. Nemeth, Ph.D., M.P., M.P.A.P.

“I believe that the hallmark of resilient people is their ability to be firmly grounded in today, to benefit from yesterday, and to imagine themselves in tomorrow. Resilient people are firmly grounded in today, while benefitting from yesterday, so that they can see themselves in tomorrow. In general, resilience promotes good mental health and better coping strategies for both today’s and tomorrow’s worlds.

The more informed people are, the better they will be prepared to cope with whatever lies ahead. Being prepared requires education. Education advances knowledge. Individual knowledge can lead to collective wisdom rather than reactive panic.

The purpose of this Congress is to promote the importance of Mental Health and Well-Being. These presentations are designed to inspire the collective wisdom of mental health educators and practitioners throughout the world”.
