Prof. Alfred Pritz, President of the World Council for Psychotherapy (Vienna, Austria), Ph.D in Psychopathology and Pedagogics in Salzburg, General secretary of the European Association for Psychotherapy,  сollaborator for the Austrian law for Psychotherapy and advisor in some European ministeries, author and publisher of about 20 books on psychotherapy, addressed welcome words to the I World Congress on Mental Health: Meeting the Needs of the XXI Century.

“Emotional and mental conflicts and diseases are epidemics in the 21st century. More than 30 % of the populations in the world are suffering from depression anxieties, psychosomatic disorders and psychosis.

Therefore, the fight for a better world must start with a treatment of these conditions. It is still this area is under finance and it is our task to explain to the politicians and necessity and action in this area of emotional and mental health.

This congress is one of the tools to make the problem visible. I wish you all the best in this endeavor”.
