The International Social Security Association (ISSA) has become an Official Partner of the I World Congress on Mental Health: Meeting the Needs of the XXI Century.

Mr. Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, the Secretary General of the ISSA since 2005, has agreed to join the Organizing Committee of the Congress. Mr. Hans-Horst Konkolewsky oversees a programme of worldwide activities that includes major international Conferences and Seminars on social security issues; research and data gathering; training for CEOs and middle management officials; promotion and public information activities; regional activities for the four regions: Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas as well as external relations with other major international organizations involved with social and economic development issues (World Bank, IMF, OECD, ILO, WHO, UN, etc.).

In the framework of the Congress Mr. Hans-Horst Konkolewsky considers a possibility to open discussion on issues relating to mental health in the workplace while highlighting examples of good practices in maintaining a healthy working environment.
