Akindinov S. Alexey’s Profile
Alexey S. Akindinov graduated from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a degree in “Enterprise Economics and Management. Hotel and restaurant business”. He has a diploma of American Hotel & Motel Association (now AH&MA) in hospitality management and a Bachelor’s degree in “Administration of Hotel Business” of International Hospitality Management School by Christelijke Hogeschool Noord-Nederlanden. In 2004 Alexey defended his thesis “Marketing of Hotel services in Global Distribution Systems” and got his Ph.D.
Alexey has more than 15 years of experience in hotel industry. During this period he worked as in hotels under well-known international brands Marriott, Golden Tulip, and Radisson, as well as in independent Russian hotels – “Zolotoye Koltso”, Korston Hotel Moscow and Savoy. Alexey grew up from the position of receptionist to the position of the hotel General Manager. In January 2015 Alexey joined AZIMUT team as General Manager of AZIMUT Hotel Saint Petersburg, simultaneously performing the regional management of AZIMUT Hotel Murmansk. In December 2015 Alexey was appointed to the position of General Manager of Moscow Region, where he manages AZIMUT Hotel Olympic, AZIMUT Hotel Tulskaya and preparation to the opening of a brand-new AZIMUT Hotel Smolenskaya, scheduled for May 2017.
