III ONLINE ALL-RUSSIAN INTERUNIVERSITY SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE “MENTAL HEALTH: MODERN TRENDS & PROSPECTS”

The Union for Mental Health (Moscow, Russia) in cooperation with the Kuban State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Krasnodar, Russia), the Kazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Kazan, Russia), and the Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Moscow, Russia) will hold the III Online All-Russian Interuniversity Scientific Conference “MENTAL HEALTH: MODERN TRENDS & PROSPECTS” on 19 March 2021 at 11 a.m.

The Conference is aimed at raising awareness on mental health via presentation of modern approaches to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental and behavioral disorders among senior students at medical universities in Russia. It will serve also for developing networks and cooperation in mental health field between Russian universities and improving attitudes to psychiatry as a one of the leading sciences in mental health.

The keynote report “ICD-11 Mental, Behavioural or Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Overview and Example ‎of Schizophrenia or other Primary Psychotic Disorders” will be presented by Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Gaebel‎Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre on Quality Assurance and Empowerment in Mental Health, President of the European Scientific Association on Schizophrenia and other Psychoses (ESAS) (Germany)
The Conference is the part of the All-Russian Interuniversity Educational Program for students of medical and non-medical universities – future specialists in the field of mental health.
