World Children’s Day
November 20th is World Children’s Day – the global day of action for child rights. This year marks 30 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child – the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history.
There have been historic gains overall for the world’s children in the past 30 years. However, many of the poorest children are yet to feel the impact, says a new UNICEF report.
