Professional Burnout Prevention Program Launched in Moscow

 

On April 4, 2017, the Union for Mental Health of Russia with the support of the Moscow Department of Culture of Moscow and the Moskino cinema network is to organize a charity screening of the film SNEA-KERS (Russian: КЕДЫ) by a famous Russian film director Sergei Solovyov for specialists and non-specialists providing rehabilitation services for people with mental health problems. An autistic boy Danila played one of the main roles in the film.

SNEA-KERS is a feature film based on the story Paradise Found by Andrei Gelasimov. A guy Sasha, nicknamed Jagger is preparing to join the army, but not before he decides to buy a pair of red sneakers. He is sure that after his service in the army they will be faithfully waiting for him. But those same sneakers accidentally bring him to Amira, a daring and cheerful girl who is raising her autistic son alone.

The event is aimed at the prevention of professional burnout among specialists and non-specialists of Moscow providing services in the field of treatment, rehabilitation / habilitation for people with mental health problems.

Prior to the screening, there will be a meeting with the director Sergei Solovyov and the film crew members.
